Yalding win
Yalding were put into bat on a very hot and sunny day. After 46 long overs they achieved 177/8. John Clark and Gary Marshall took 3 wickets each, with Glen Warner picking up the other two. Will Needham had a good spell but had no luck today.
After tea, Andy Hammond and Lewis '118' Wright stormed their way to an opening partnership of 44 before Andy was bowled for 27. The middle order collapsed, unable to support Lewis, until eventually he fell for 49. Will Needham came in at no.8 and scored 14 (3rd highest score) giving us a glimmer of hope. However we didn't last long and were eventually bowled out for 126.
Credit to Yalding for preparing their pitch after many trials and tribulations along the way.
