Cowdrey win by 26 runs

Sevenoaks Vine won the toss and elected to field. The outcome of this game was very uncertain as both teams were missing a number of players. Brown and Hollingsworth walked out to the crease. A four on the fourth ball of the first over settled any nerves. After a decent partnership of 46 Brown lost his wicket for 26 runs. Pilkington and Hollingsworth took Cowdrey’s score to 61 when Hollingsworth went out for a patient and classy 12. Pilkington saw Cowdrey’s score to 96 when he was out for 22. Shimmin and Skillen took Cowdrey’s final score to 99-6 in the allotted 22 over’s. This was a good score considering this was a bowler’s pitch.
